Visions From My Life Lost is a deeply personal project in which I return to places which continue to live so strongly in my heart and consciousness. By revisiting these places from my past I take the opportunity to re-examine mine and my family's relationships to them and each other in the intimate ways only the burden of a camera can allow. The focus of this essay revolves around Philadelphia, the city where my parents were raised, I was born, spent many formative years and still identify strongly with. It is in these relationships, places and the distances between them where I hope to come in closer contact with my personal identity as well as continue to better understand my motivations and desires as a photographer and a person.
